Surgical Operation Rescue President of Yemen

Twice surgery ultimately save Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh. According to APand AFP news on Monday (06/06/2011), the operation to remove the debris rocket inhis chest. Two times the surgery is done in Saudi Arabia.

According to official sources the government of Saudi Arabia, now, Saleh is entering a period of recovery. Not yet clear whether Saleh would return to Yemen or not. Yemen'sDeputy Information Minister Abdu al-Janadi said Saleh would return to Yemen.

"President Saleh in a healthy condition. He will hand over power one day, but it must bethrough constitutional means," said al-Janadi.

However, media reports also suggest that the government of Saudi Arabia will allowSaleh did not seem to return to Yemen.

Currently, Vice President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi Saleh replaced temporarily. In addition, Mansour Hadi was also in control of the military. "He will hand over power oneday, but it must be through constitutional means," he said.

Meanwhile, the Yemeni news agency, Saba, shows, Mansour Hadi held a meeting withU.S. Ambassador Gerald Michael Feierstein. This meeting is to discuss the importance of cooperation with opposition groups.

However, Mansour Hadi very limited power given the President Saleh's son and several members of his family still control key army units in the military. Thus, the peace agreement between government and opposition are scheduled to take place Monday(06/06/2011) will be delayed.

President Saleh was forced to leave Yemen to Saudi Arabia after an attack on the presidential palace injuring himself and a number of high officials of Yemen. Saleh's departure along with his family and several high officials of the people of Yemen has been warmly welcomed and seen as a victory. Yemen People gathered, danced andsang to celebrate the departure of Saleh in Sanaa University Square which has been the center of rallies.
