Britain Ready to Build 8 Nuclear Reactor

The British government continued plans to build a nuclear power plant (NPP). Britainhas confirmed the eight names of areas that will be the establishment of the futurereactors.

In the first announcement about the future of nuclear in Britain, after the disaster that occurred in Fukushima Japan, the government confirmed that the locations chosen weresuitable for nuclear power plants. The plan, coming in 2025, the plant will accompany the currently operating nuclear power plants.

The eight power plants will be established in Bradwell - Essex, Hartlepool, Heysham -Lancashire, Hinkley Point - Somerset, Oldbury - South Gloucestershire, Sellafield -Cumbria, Sizewell - Suffolk, and Wylfa, Anglesey.

Development plan is part of a national policy of energy surrounding the newly coined. This plan will still be debated and decided through a vote in parliament. But ministershope will win the pro-nuclear vote.

Excerpted from the Independent, June 26, 2011, the government plans to use the latestgeneration of reactors to keep the power supply and cut exhaust emissions after powergeneration long since closed.

The future of nuclear as an energy source for countries all over the world is now aquestion after the devastating earthquake and tsunami hit the nuclear reactors inFukushima and the resulting leakage of radioactive radiation from the power plant.

Previous week, the British government signaled that the development plans of nuclearreactors in the UK unchanged after initial reports came from observers and nuclearexperts that the UK does not need to limit nuclear after seeing the situation in Japan.
