Planet of Life Support First Detected

ONE rocky alien planetcalled Gliese 581d mightbecome the world's firstknown outside the Earthcan support life as weknow. The latest researchshows this.

Astronomers conduct newstudies of atmosphericmodels have found thatthe planet is apparentlylocated in the habitable zone of a star that became the center. You see, the distance of the two possiblepresence of water.

That's a strange world that could be like the Earth which provides the oceans, clouds, and rainfall. This conclusion is consistent with several other studiesrecently.

Unfortunately, nothing is definitively establish that the water is at the core of lifeflowing on the surface of alien planets. The new study assumes that the mass ofGliese 581d is about seven times larger than Earth.

The planet has a thick carbon dioxide atmosphere. This is probably because themass planets so big.

The star that became the center of Gliese 581d, known as Gliese 581, is a reddwarf, located 20 light-years from Earth. This is like only a stone's throw in thecosmic scheme.

So far, astronomers have detected six planets orbiting the star.
