Mysterious Dark Energy

Scientists from the United States and Australia conducted a survey of astronomy usingsophisticated techniques. The survey results confirm the existence of mysterious darkenergy.

Dark energy is thought to disrupt 74% of the universe. In addition, its presence is often atheory to explain why the universe is expanding with high speed rate.

This finding is based on the study of more than 200,000 galaxies and involves twotechniques, namely pattern measurement techniques how galaxies are distributed in space and determine how fast the galaxy clusters are formed. Both of these techniquesensure the existence of dark energy and expansion velocity of the universe.

Dark energy theory first appeared in 1990. To calculate the acceleration of the expansion of this energy, astronomers must rewrite Albert Einstein's gravitational theoryor accept the theory of the cosmos filled with the kind of energy that has not beenstudied.

"The action of dark energy is like throwing a ball into the air, and kept the ball sped into the sky," said study author Chris Blake from Swinburne University of Technology inMelbourne, Australia.

The result of dark energy is a cosmological constant as Einstein said. "If gravity did it,we will not be seeing the effects of constant dark energy," he said. Still, scientistsacknowledge, the phenomenon of dark energy still need much explanation. [mor]
