How Far Edge of the Solar System?

VIVAnews - Currently, Satellite Voyager 1 and Voyager 2, two spacecraft sent fromEarth in 1977 then, was heading out of the solar system.

Both satellites are now pasttip of the magnetic waves a distance of about 9 billion milesor about 15 billion miles from Earth . The distance is certainly a great distance. However, that distance is also quite hard to imagine.

Here is picture of how much 15 billion miles, according to the calculation of theresearchers, quoted from Life's Little Mysteries, June 11, 2011.

Aircraft moving from Los Angeles in the western United States to New York in theeastern United States or vice versa, a distance of about 3983 kilometers. That is, if theVoyager satellite took this route, he has made about 3 to 4 million trips back and forth.

When compared to the distance between the Earth with the Moon which would average384,403 miles, meaning that the two satellites that have been back and forth betweenEarth and Moon by more than 37 thousand times.

Sun itself has a distance of about 150 million miles from us. The end of our solar system, and also the Voyager satellites running around the region, now reach 97 timesfurther away than the Earth and Sun.
